Yes, like to add my thanks too. Equally, you're doing a sterling job advertising Goins, Manah, I think I need it.

I have a straight cut throat razor has the word Napoleon stamped on one side with the makers name on the other. The manufacturers name is John & Wm Ragg of Sheffield England. I think its around 60yrs old. Hope this helps

Welcome to SRP Alan. Actually the one being discussed in this thread would have Napoleon on the mark side and Bresnick, along with two ducks and Solingen stamped on the reverse tang. Thanks for the info though.

The master of Dubl Duck, Thebigspendur, should be along shortly. Then we all will be enlightened. I swear he knows everything there is to know about the brand.

Sounds like a good candidate for honing and shaving with it. There are some honemiesters in UK if you're interested.

From what I've read...the Napoleon is bigfoot of the shaving world. Many people believe it exists, but it's never been seen.

It's like the abominable snowman. You know it's out there but no one has ever brought one back or presented evidence but it's out there somewhere.

It's just one of those older models that were sold in small quantities.
