Default Opinions on a Kropp 7/8's

So I just picked up a Kropp 7/8's and I thought I would put it up here for the critics.

    Any opinions on this blade?

    What do you guys think?

Thanks for the response Sham. I don't think negatively about it, I actually have high hopes for it. I was just wondering if anyone currently is using a kropp and could offer an opinion. I searched and found just a few but there was no real discussion on the brand.

    thanks,
    Michael

My first straight razor was a 5/8ths Kropp, so I have a soft spot for them even though I don't currently have one.

Kropp is a fine Sheffield made blade. Most were ground in Sheffield, some were ground in Hamburg.

I don't recall seeing a 7/8ths Kropp, which means little. 5/8ths and 6/8ths blades are fairly common.

    Good shaver. Enjoy.

Thats a nice find , You will find it to be a great shaver & easy to hone , if my own experience of the Krop 5/8 I had is anything to go by.
I did post a review of that one in the razor review section . Your 7/8 is the first one i've seen though. Paul
