Thread: In reference to previous post..Should I get a 5/8 or 6/8

This is just a quick post to update everyone who replied to my previous post from this past weekend. I ordered the 6/8 DOVO Bismarck, got it yesterday and love it! This morning was my first shave with it and I really like the feel of it compared the the 5/8 I've been shaving with. Thanks to everyone for their replies and advice. PS. I ordered it from Straight Razor Designs and highly recomend them to anyone looking to purchase a new razor. I ordered it Sunday night and got an email first thing Monday morning letting me know it had already been shipped. Of course I paid $4 and something to have it mailed "priority mail" but this is still great response time.

Like Ben, congratulations on your choice. One of the many nice things about straight shaving is finding out what you like amongst sizes, grinds etc. My favourite razor is still a 6/8 half hollow (from Sheffield).
