Edelweiss and I
Gentlemen,
In case you missed some of my thoughts on my new Boker Edelweiss, look in the thread "Oh, Sweet Edelweiss." My first shave with the razor was delightful.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 522Boker Edelweiss
I also got my Edelweiss in the mail on Sat 8/29. I have a few nice looking razors but I can honestly say that I do not have a razor that can match the quality and workmanship of the Boker. There is definitely a "fist full of steel" feel compared to any of my Dovos or Gencos. This is a piece of machinery.
I won't shave with it until I have viewed the edge under my micrscope. This is the only chance I have had so far to look at an edge finished by Lynn Abrams and I fully intend to see what I can learn from the view.
The best shaver I have at the moment is an Imperial Razor of German origin (vintage 1920 -1940) that I bought new in the box around 1968. I dragged it across my Naniwa 12k Super stone and my Nakayama. I say again, it's the best shaver I have and I will be tickled pink if the Edelweiss outperforms it.
As a matter of fact, I hope it does....... JERRYJERRY
OOOPS! Pass the styptic please.
