    Not. Quite.

Mentors, like every other member of SRP, are supposed to amend and enhance the Wiki. The FAQ is still untouched. Shame on you both.

How that little factoid got in the Wiki or anywhere else is an interesting mystery...

The truth of the matter is nobody really knows, there is no proof for any explination.... so far...

And yes I do know how to edit the Wiki...

Not really. I put it in there, cf Revision history of "Frequently Asked Questions" - Straight Razor Place Wiki. The beauty of a Wiki (any Wiki, really) is that you can track changes.

The best we can do is track common consensus. Another good thing about a Wiki is that users can change it. Unlike a forum thread, in which something a mod wrote is usually set in stone. Bad, bad, bad.

Sort of. I've taken the liberty to take things into perspective. Anyone feel free to amend and enhance. Frequently Asked Questions - Straight Razor Place Wiki

    Kind regards,

Cool - battle of the mods! :-) Maybe we get an updated Wiki section on this nugget?

You wish, buddy. Glen has forgotten more about razors than I'll ever learn.

It's already there, as you might have noticed if you'd read my post thoroughly. Whether this edit will stand the test of time is up to the guys with proper knowledge.

That is because you are unimaginative, boring, and dull.

It's also an equivalent to a "Barber's use" stamp, because back in the day, razor salesmen would only sell a razor with a barber's notch to a barber. If you have any razors with a barber's notch, you better return them to real barbers before the cops come knocking on your door.

Barber's notches add a second functionality to your razor - they are there to help you crack open a brewski.
Ya! YA! What he said. Without a barbers notch on a razor you break teeth opening the beer! <LOL>
