Aiiee, that's a big beautiful blade!
By the look of the break in the scales that razor is DEAD. Send it to me and I will dispose safely for you;)
Hi Sham,
I like to wrap my big blades in Gunstock Bone. Any good?
Mike
hi Mike .that is nice bone handle blade.blade is wedge i think? great one too.
Bone from petsmart for 5.00. Yes Joseph Elliots Silver Steel Wedge. It is a little over 3/4". Thank you for kind words Sham. Bone is nice material for my taste. I make other styles too but all my biggest wedges I make like this.

WOW...I just have to say WOW. I'm GREEN with envy!!!
I want it....I NEED it!
Looks like it would EAT my 8/8+ W&B Barber's use for breakfast!
A beautiful Chopper among Choppers like that deserves some new scales. Definately. It would be cool to fix the broken originals, but come on, dress that bad boy up!
Go for something understated, either
Black horn
Figured horn
Or ebony
With large BULLS EYE pins! IMO!
I had to look again! Woah, the tang is so wide, the Rodgers Norfolk street logo looks lost!
This blade is a wonder to behold. The ultimate chopper. I reckon it remains unchallenged, I havent seen one bigger and doubt I will unless someone forges one!
Holy Moses... That is a gooooorgeous razor...
I woud not glue it. It's a masterpiece of a razor. Black or Gray translucent horn scale,
