Are you gonna paddle a boat with that or use it as a spatula to serve pancakes?

Just send it out for some new bone scales. Or those fancy G10 ones that Max does that everyone likes.

Sham if it was mine I would take contact cement and try gluing it. The non pivot side isn't going to be a problem if it is stabilized. I have a similar piece and it is a great shaver if somewhat unwieldy.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That is a nice blade. Can't wait to see what you do with the scales. Hey, Football season is almost here that razor would make for a very intimidating tomahawk chop for the KC Chefs (I mean Chiefs).lol

Wow sham! Don't hurt yourself lifting that thing. Very nice blade, congrats. Once you get it honed up be sure to send it around so we can all try it.

Sham, If that razor belonged to me, I would consider a few options for the scales.

    1. Genuine black horn (exact copy of the original scale shape) ...maybe adding some pearl inlay work

    2. Two tone Amboyna Burl with brass liners

    3. A nice brown canvas micarta (I like G10 alright, it's just not really for me)

Those are my thoughts, I can't wait to see what you decide

    Holy $%&@!!!

I want bad. I agree with Del1r1um. Black horn with inlays would be killer.

I agree with Jimmy and would glue it. I have a razor with a similar crack that I've glued and have had no problems.
