I think they made that one for Paul Bunyan.
Very good looking razor.
What a great blade, I may have some scale material you might want to look at, give me a call or come over. Bring the blade!;)
These 2 slabs of horn would love to give that blade a big (permanent) hug.
hehe.

That is the largest Joseph Rodgers I have ever seen. It is beautiful! Another option you might consider for the scales is gaboon ebony. It is very dark like the original horn scales and doesn't stink so bad when you work with it. I look forward to seeing what you do in the end.
Ohhhh man, I didn't mean that post as offering up the slabs :O
I just thought that pic would remind you...the only clear choice here was horn :P

That'e exactly what I said a few posts back, Gray translucent horn.

Heh. Nice swor- I mean razor :medvl:. :D
I only blades only go up to 8/8. Nice. It would be interesting to hear how does that whopper handle.
Since that handles have quite a bit area, it would be good candidate for decorations (painting/scrimshaw) or inlays if those take your fancy.
duh, horn, of course :)
i'm glad i don't like such insanity or i'll be very jealous
