    Default Muhle Straight?

I used up my Muhle shave cream and was going to get some more when I noticed that they are going to start selling straight razors. Link. They look nice, Have they made them before of is this a new thing for them?

Wow! Those look nice in the closeup option. I wonder if they are using old stock blank blades or if they are new production? Thanks for the heads up-I will keep an eye on them. Could this be a sign of a resurgence in straight razor shaving caused by the economic downturn?

I bet they are legit razor that were contracted out. That looks very much like the Dovo Inox tang stamp. There is also a no-name brand of razors out of solingen that they look suspiciously like at rasurpur.de:

    Default Muhle Straight?

    Gentlemen,

That indeed is a striking razor.

The experts on this forum, I am sure, can offer an opinion on this: Do I see a similarity to the typical arrow-shaped butt in the Thiers-Issard?

    Regards,

    Obie

The text indicates that it's a Solingen blade, so maybe a contract from Dovo? I was thinking the same thing as I looked at the web page, that straight demand is increasing and more vendors are getting into the game. A very good sign!
