I cant find a history of this razor I bought
It's called a Jim Smith and made in Germany. I just can't find anything about that brand. Any help? It's my first straight and I've been told it'll be ok to learn with. What do we know?!?

I'm sorry folks, I don't know why but I typed Jim Smith when it's really Jim Slick. Forgive my oversight and failure to come back and check on it. I feel stupid. Jim Slick is the razor I bought. Jim. Slick.
