    I have found Blackwell Bedford Co JL Strand, is all that is stamped on the steel.
    What is the history? worth?

    The tang should be marked "Blackwell, 3 Bedford Court, Strand", (Strand Street, London) instead of "Co JL Strand". This would be Charles Blackwell, Maker of Surgeons' Instruments, Cutler, & Razor Maker. In business as early as 1828. I have no idea when he went out of business. I have several of these razors, most in genuine ivory. They are excellent shavers. Hope this helps.
