    Default Is this a Boker?

I picked this up in an antique store for $18.00 because it looked like a good project for a newbie. It was made for the Luthe Hdw Co of Des Moines, IA. It has CAPITAL etched on the blade. It states Made in Germany on the tang. it also looks like there is a tree similar to the Boker emblem. I can't get a very good picture with my camera .

Follow this link here to an illustration of the Boker trademark and the years they were used. If you razor's tree is one of those it is a Boker. They made a lot of razors for various hardware stores but IME they usually have H. Boker on the reverse tang.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

It's a Boker, We have a couple like this. Doesn't say Boker on it at all. Just the tree logo.

Thanks for the replies. There is very little tarnish and no rust on the razor. The scales are in good shape and the pins are tight so it should be easy for a first time restoration project.
