Looks like it's from the '20s or '30s. Here you go:

Carl Schaaf, Solingen, Bismarckstrasse 98 in 1920, 1922, 1925, 1932 and 1939. Brand names: 'Die Gute 5pfg.-Klinge', 'Schaaso', 'Schaaso-Populär', 'Shakespeare', 'Shakespeare Klinge', 'Veni Vidi Vici', 'Wilhelmus', 'Wilhelmus-Auslese', 'Wilhelmus-Gold'. Open-blade razor and razor-blade maker.

+1 on sending it out to be honed. That ones is a beauty and if you practice on that one the hone wear could be excessive. A razor as good looking as that one will be a pleasure to shave with every time it comes around in the rotation.

Schaaf - well known surname in Solingen.
Carl Schaaf, 1920 - 1939, located Solingen, Bismarckstrasse 98.

His brother August Schaaf, was one of the owners of "Balke & Schaaf", in 1920 located Solingen Bismarckstrasse 85/87.

That is a lovely razor. Anything that lovely has to be a good shaver, too, I would say. An excellent find.

Very nice razor you've scored there! I don't know that brand, but generally, anything which says "Solingen" on the tang promises to be a very good blade.
