    Default I always wondered...

    I was going through some old pics today, found this. I sold it on Ebay waaaay back in 2002 for way more than I thought it would bring.... if memory serves it was in the area of $180. Does anyone know what was so special about the scales that made it sell?

    Just the fact that they are unusual scales. Those scale collectors are serious about their acquisition disorder.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Damn, there was a similar set of scales on eBay France last week... unsold at 5, maybe I should have bought them to resell on the other side of the Atlantic.
