    Default Eureka !!

Ok, maybe this isn't an earth shattering discovery. And probably it's one of those newbie discoveries that is common knowledge.

But, I've found a great way dry my razor that gives it a little polish at the same time.

When I'm finished I rinse the blade and then use an extra cloth to clean my eyeglasses. One of those silk cloths they sell. It's wipes the water clean and leaves the blade shiny. It's thin enough to get in the small spaces and wipe any drops between the scales.

Like I said not earth shattering. However it's made my routine a little better and I thought I'd share.

I've got one of those cloths somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

I could see that working very well. I've just been using toilet paper, cause it's right there.

I was using rice paper or toilet paper to evenly spread the oil. Now I'm using a dedicated silk cloth. The reason is the cloth soon get impregnated with the oil and it spreads it more evenly over the polished blade of my C-Mon. Luckily I have a lot of those things lying around.
