    Default Recent Finds and Questions

Here are some razors I bought yesterday. The top is a Fredrick Reynolds, The second is a Genco Army/Navy, the third is another Reynolds and the last is a DD #1 Special. The prices were $25, $5, $10, and $52. The scales are going to have to go, but other than some surface rust there are no pits. The DD looks almost new, except I believe it was re-pinned at some point. The top Reynolds is also not too bad, but I have to rework the old scales. I would love to hear thoughts and one of these is going out for a little tune up, while the others I am going to try to undertake with the sandpaper myself.

Great score!! All will give great shaves. The Reynolds may give you a run for your money while honing, if you do it yourself, but the DD will make up for it. Some of my Reynolds' have taken longer to hone than most but the shaves were great!.

    Congrats!
