Default Any other owners of Woolf Bakalar razors?

I picked this one up in New Hampshire a couple of weeks back. Nice big bone scales. A couple of hairline cracks around each pin, but they're stable. Blade seems to be in good shape; I haven't even started cleaning / sanding it yet.

Woolf Bakalar is a new name for me. I've seen a couple of references to Bakalar on the web, but does anyone here actually have one? Want to share info or pix of your own?

Also, there doesn't seem to be an agreed-upon way to take out discoloration, except peroxide. Or did I miss something? A light sanding at 1000 grit didn't seem to do much. I've already applied some neetsfoot, but it's the color I am focused on now.

    Default Woolf Bakalar

    Hello Basset,

I picked one up at the Flea Market today in WPB FL. I haven't seen any except for yours and Can't find it in any of my reference books. I'm still trying to find out more info and will let you know what I find out. Let me know if you find anything on your end. Thanks

No info on my end. I cleaned and honed it. Works great. I'd happily grab another at the right price.

Post a pic when you get the chance.
