The grind is a diamond shape, similar to a Rodgers that I own, definately also in the data base here. I think it is also sometimes known as an arris.

Lovely razors, especially those ivory scales. A bonus if your name just so happens to be Robert White!

As far as identification goes, I have not a clue, a marker I have never before seen or heard of. Good luck trying to find out - i'll be watching this thread!

    EDIT

I had another look. What I find extremely interesting is that apart from the tang stamp, these blades appear to be identical.

Its a shame that the one which has 'CHEAPSIDE' stamped on the tang has lost the rest of its information. This may be your only clue if you can try and decipher it, as I did a search and found 2 cutlers that once existed in Cheapide in Georgian London. These were:

    James Taylor Cutler & Silversmith
    J. Spyers Cutler Also at 49, Lombard-street

Those are the nicest scales I have ever seen. Too bad they sold for the best part of a grand! And the scales were cracked on both.

BTW he has some other nice razors mostly with stub tails. Thank god he doesn't allow international bidders. I would be ruined.
