    Default Antique Festival Find

Streets full of vendors, music and food, quality time with wife and daughter. Without a find it still would have been a decent day but the day gets better when you find a keeper. Our 10 year found herself a couple of Cambell Soup mugs she didn't have. My Wife a Blue Carnival glass candy dish, and as for myself, a H. Boker Red Injun #101 with it's coffin. After bit of haggling I ended up paying 30 bucks for it. It's in real good shape and if it shaves like my East TN Hillbilly Boker (Boker Damacus Steel with home made broom handle scales) I"ll be real pleased.

Very nice score. Boker's are, as you already know, great blades, and that is a fine example of a 101.

Excellent score!! I love local finds! You'll be pleased with the shave from this one when properly honed.

Looks near mint! Great find. Can't remember the senators name, but a US senator once said in a speech about manufacturing that "There is no better razor than a Boker Red Injun!" FWIW.

HAHAHA!!! Trade you, I would love nothing more than to move to Germany (I've been learning German for 7 years so the language barrier isn't much of a barrier these days)
