Thread: Giving Back...

All-
Since joining in early 2009 this forum has been a tremendous help to me; the term 'blessing' may well apply. It has fostered a better way to shave, friendships, a new hobby where I can combine my love of restoration with my newfound love of razors, and introduced me to a large community of some of the most courteous, generous people I have ever met. (I'm on a lot of forums. Most of them feel like a melee. This one feels like a conversation.)

Anyway, I want to give something back...

I'd like to rescale a razor for someone. It could be anyone, but I'd especially love to do this for someone who has been in the forum/hobby for awhile and has a good blade they'd like dressed up but otherwise couldn't afford.

I don't have the time to do any major restoration on the blade, but I could tumble/polish it up if they wanted. I also can't offer a shave-ready blade back (unless it comes to me that way and doesn't need tumbling) as I lack a set of bevel-setting hones.

I will be home on break from this Saturday until next Wednesday. If you got the razor to me by Friday, You'd have it back in a week.
