Default Need Help with Razor ID

Hey guys, I need some help figuring out what I've got here. I've been doing a lot of searching and come up empty.

The Markings say Best Silver Steel Solingen Made in Germany on one side,
on the other is says Trade Mark with a picture of a crown and crossed arrows,
on the blade is a picture of an airplane with the word SYRIE on the wing.

The scales are plain blue plastic and seem kind of cheesy but the blade looks good to me, but what do I know?

I've seen several other razors with the "Best Silver Steel" but they all seem to have a manufacturer on the other side.

Anybody seen one of these? If so is the razor an o.k. shaver?
    Thanks for any help.

Agreed! Like the Plane etching, and should sharpen up nicely

    Hope you enjoy it!

I don't know, but I owned a 4/8 round point with black scales which took a great edge and shaved very well. It was in near NOS condition with matching box. It said Best Silver Steel and Solingen made on one side of the tang. The other side had the absolute identical crown and arrows logo and the Makers name/initials as: Gebr Korte

I never found anything on the maker.

Sorry to grave dig! I just got a razor similar to this, it says "Made in Germany Best Silver Steel" and has the same hallmark on the tang (the sun burst), but doesnt say Solingen. Does the hallmark mean anything?

FYI, the one I received was my grandfather's, reads "Three Star" along the blade, and I estimate it to be around 1940's. Unfortunately it is quite rusted and has a small chip out of the end of the blade.
