My new 7/8 Friodur
I bought this razor a couple of months ago, and it was advertised as being NOS. The person who I bought it off of didn't hone it, so I'm assuming it came from the factory in the condition that I received it in. I put it up when I got it, and yesterday decided to take it down to evaluate the edge. For grins, I tried a HHT and it passed quite easily... So, I decided to strop it on my Chrom Ox followed by the linen and horsehide strop and try it out.
I was pleasantly surprised by the resulting shave. It provided a very smooth BBS shave with no irritation on discomfort. When I get around to it, I'll send this dude out for some nice scales and it'll be set.
Just thought I'd share.

Nice razor. I like the scales, especially since it's NOS.

My New 7/8 Friodur
My dear Richmondesi,
Plain and simple: that Friodur is a delight to look at. And that it shaves like a champion razor makes it even more of a great find. Well deserved, sir.
Regards,
Obie
