Thanked: 46Robert Klaas 136 5/8
So I got this razor in a lot I won, and I just finished restoring it after getting my first shave I will post a review. My question is does anyone have any clue or opinion about this razor? seems awfully similar to crown and sword razors, maybe an OEM? Just for kicks it has two storks on the shank.

I have 2 Klaas razors. One is a fine shaver but is too heavy for my taste. It is stamped Prussia so it is pretty old. The other is a new Klaas from Germany and I just finished restoring it and it is out for honing, so I can't speak for it yet. It does, however, seem to be more my style. As an added bonus, it has a nice thumb notch.

Those are actually cranes. Kissing Cranes is a well known marque among pocket knife collectors. The Klaas name goes back a couple of hundred years IIRC making swords and other cutlery. I have a couple of their razors .... or a few and they have been very good shavers.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 293They're among my favorites. In terms of edge retention and consistency, they are almost unrivaled by anything else in my stable of 20-or-so well-known and reputable razors. Check out the emblem in my signature.
You've hit the jackpot, sir. Let me know if you don't want it .
