My Razor Collection
I've been using straight razors for about two years and I've learned a lot by reading postings on this web site and from trial-and-error experimentation, some of it painful. I have a variety of razors, Filarmonica, Henckles, Dubl-Duck, Dovo, Boker, Wapi, C-Mon and a couple of old razors I found in an antique shop. I've photographed my collection and a picture of part of the collection is posted here. I started with a Fili and now own several. They are fine razors and shave very well.

Nice collection. Does that one Filly have a French toe on it? If so, that's sweet.

More of My Razors
I posted a picture of my Filis. I will post pictures of the rest of my razors in this reply. I don't know if my Filis are new or vintage. All I know is they are not being made any longer. I had to put a French scale on one of my Filis because part of the blade was not entirely protected by the original scale. I think the original was designed for a 5/8 razor, not a 7/8. All of my razors shave really well. I've had some instruction in honing at a cutlery shop and I've learned over time how to put a really good edge on my razors. One of my best shavers is a Wapi which is not anywhere near my most expensive razor.

Just add a couple of zeroes after the 50 and I might think about it.
