Beau BRUMMEL?
I got this razor and blade is so nice condition. My question is Blade doesn't have any marks to say Brummel but handle does. Please check pictures and let me know what you think

Thanked: 13245I think it is a different razor in some BB scales Sham, all mine have very distinct stamps and 3/4 have hammered tangs...
The other thing is the "heavy" look to that razor BB's look and feel just like their cousins the Dubl Ducks

All the BBs are marked Beau Brummel Werk and the later ones once they aligned with DD are marked Beau Brummel without the werk and say Jamaica N.Y. I agree that is probably some other razor. Looks good anyway.

LOL! Good one!
When a blade is rescaled there is usually some tell tale signs on the pics. Look them over and compare one side to the other and then the pivot end to the spacer end. They should all look identical. I can't tell form the pics you posted. Look close where the stamp would be with magnification and see if there is any residual stamp that may have been removed while grinding/buffing the finish. If it was buffed it looks like it was done out of the scales as the finish is shiny right up to the scales from the pics.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A.
