I go to Lehmans every so often as I'm a 'non-electric' oriented person. I've seen these Razors in person, and have to agree with the posts above that it's likely Thier's Issard.
By the way if anyone gets a chance to be in Ohio, it's worth making the trip to Lehmans.

Thanks for the input, I had thought several years ago that Lehman's had mentioned TI as the manufacturer, but I think lots of things that don't base all that well in reality.

Well, it looks like Lehmans has been selling TIs for years - heres part of a posting from SRP dated 2003:

I you look at about the 3 min stage in this DOVO vid
(Thiers one didn't show this bit) they are dipping the blades into a molten substance, lead?

The more expensive razor in the Lehman ad is a Thiers Issard 6/8 with blond horn scales - a nice razor. I got one before they raised the price, touched up the edge a bit, and it shaves like a dream.

Lehman's has a long standing relationship with TI and have always sold just a couple models and at a very reasonable price until told by TI to increase it.....

This is a very cool store as indicated earlier in the thread and worth the visit although sort of a tourist destination too.

The razor pictured doesn't look like a TI, but could very well be.

Well, that doesn't seem like a bad deal at all.... they need to get a better picture of their stock! Or at least describe it!

    Default Lehmans TI razor sale

I live about an hour from Lehmans Hardware and visited today for some early Christmas shopping. They have TI 5/8 tortise shell razors etched "Fully Warranted". for WELL under a hundred bucks!! ( and i mean well under) I should have bought a few and resold them.

If you can still get them for that price get a few and rescale them to keep. TI blade and custom scales would be nice to use now and then for you. Heck get a pile and offer them here for what you paid as a nice gesture :-)

It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
