Thanked: 0Paul Schulze razor
i have found one online, but i cannot tell if it legit.
The name "paul shulze" is sort of etched onto the blade in a gold and black lettering.
The prob i have though, is that there is no sign of where it was manuf. on the shank or anywhere else.
How can i tell if its real?Last edited by nick1990; 10-27-2009 at 07:39 PM.

I can understand if you don't want to post a link to it, but could you snag some pictures and post them? That should help people advise more effectively.

Thanked: 1903Paul Schulze GmbH & Co KG. You're either looking at a vintage, or one that was done by Wacker (not likely from what you're saying). Either way, it's a Solingen razor.
There are quite a few threads on them: schulze site:straightrazorplace.com - Google Search.

Thanked: 0The guy selling it is from Solingen Germany. I know it's not definitive but it makes me feel a little better about it.

I grabbed one 7/8 "Original Schulze" about a month ago on 'Bay. It cost about 20-25 USD and appart from some faint pitting, it is in great condition.
It honed up pretty nicely and it's right now on my current rotation.
Here's some pictures:
