Thanked: 1Muhle?
I have a Muehle razor. After 5 months I bought Lynn's DVD and 4/8 Norton, and honed as prescribed. After, I did not go to any other stone, but straight to 35 passes on linen, and 30 on leather. Still pulls a bit. I may have a problem honing, stropping or shaving, but does anyone know the quality of Muehle?
I am going to invest in a DOVO or Thiers Issard soon, but would like to get this one into shape also, keeping in mind that less is more per Lynn's advice.

Muhle shaving products today are fairly well regarded and I assume your blade is vintage since I don't think they're making straights anymore. Is there anything else on your blade indicating where it was made (Solingen perhaps or just Germany)? I would guess it's a good blade, but more info would be helpful or if you could post some pics.

Thanked: 1This is from a store called Merz Apothecary in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. They also have an online store
Men > Razors at Smallflower.com
They sell some DOVO's also.

Thanked: 151I shave with one in my rotation, however, I had a time getting the hone just right. It now works great, but mine only says Germany not Solingen.
Good Luck and the one shown above is really nice.
