Thanked: 125A few razors: Josh Mappin & Brothers, Graham, and another
My Landlord gave these to me, and they looked awful, lol. Rust is really really bad, pitting is no better. But, after being in the tumbler with some aggressive rust cutting media for a few days, they are looking much better. The Mappin needs the most work...
Here are some pre-clean pics:

Thanked: 1587Indulge me for a few moments, gentlemen, while I attempt to convey my feelings regarding the Lancet Edge through paraphrasing one of the greatest works of fiction known to man:
"It's a Lancet Edge, I say," resumed Jimbo, as he threw down the top-maul; "a lancet edge. Skin your eyes for him, men; look sharp for Sheffield steel; if ye see but a Mappin, sing out."
[...]
"Captain Jimbo," said Tashtego, "that lancet edge must be the same that some call Razor Dick."
"Razor Dick?" shouted Jimbo. "Do ye know the lancet edge then, Tash?"
"Does he grind a little curious, sir, before he goes down?" said the Gay-Header deliberately.
"And has he a curious nose, too," said Daggoo, "very roundy, even for a Mappin, and mighty stubbed, Captain Jimbo?"
[...]
"...Death and Devils! men, it is Razor Dick ye have seen---Razor Dick---Razor Dick!"
[...]
...Then tossing both arms, with measureless imprecations he shouted out: "Aye, aye! and I'll chase him round Ebay, and round Craigslist, and around the Classifieds, and round perdition's flames before I give him up. "

LOL... the Moby Mappin
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
