Thanked: 21Priceless Razor thread, let's seem them
What kind of razor is it & why is it priceless to you?
This is an All Bright, from Akron, OH by way of Germany. Ivory Scales and very small. I inherited this from my father who inherited it from his father. I've done some resto work to it. It's funny but it really fits my hand very well and is my favorite!

I don't have any pictures or a camera, but my priceless razor is a 5/8 Red Point with cream colored scales from my straight shaving sponsor Greg. I really love it as a razor, and it is a real beauty, but it is priceless to me due to the fact that it was an extraordinary display of generosity and it started me onto the straight shaving path that I intend to stay on for the rest of my days.

I gave up on trying to learn how to use a digital camera ages ago, and I probably wouldn't be able to post pictures if I could, but you can see a picture from the auction I got my favourite razor from here. It's a 6/8 Lockwood Bros. Sheffield which has all of my favourite features, it's a French Point, Single Hollow, Sheffield Steel, Shoulderless Grind with a Swayback. This was one of the very first razors I bought, was my first fixer-upper, and was also the first razor I honed by myself from start to finish. It's an excellent shaver, also. It's been rescaled and now has Mediterranean Pin-Shell scales, on Gold anodized Titanium Liners, with each segment separated with 24k gold wire, and every other segment is fluted. 24k gold pins and a stacked, gold, shell, gold wedge.
Kindest regards,
Alex
