Default Tada! The FG Paris 13/16 Wedge

Picked this beauty up. Oldest razor I have for sure. This is how she came right out of the box. Scales are bone or ivory?

Scales are bone, I'd say - they seem to have a few pores in them, which AFAIK ivory doesn't have. Nor do they appear to have the grain lines that ivory has. Nice razor though, love those big old wedges. If only I could afford one!

Given it's age my guess is that the cutler's stamp is on the tang. So the maker is one FG Paris.

I've been hearing something similar for another razor I just bought - that Le Grelot would stamp the barber's name on the tang and place their own marque on the other face of the tang. I'm not inclined to believe them. If your blade has got SOMETHING Le Grelot on it, then it may be Le Grelot; if all you have is some other name on the tang, I'd bet it ain't Le Grelot.
