Default New Buys from Bristol TN, razor porn included

Well, seems I lucked up today in one store. I bought a vintage strop, I cannot make out the name but maybe someone here knows what it is but the crappy pics of it I posted. I also purchased a Wade & Butcher w/orig box and William Webster w/ original box. I know some about the Wade & Butcher, but go ahead and give me info on what you know about it. But.... as for the William Webster I know nothing or never even heard of them, so any info would be nice. Also would like possible date range's on both. Now for the porn :P

I may be mistaken but the strop looks like it may be made of some kind of leather . Can't tell much more bu the picture.

Nice score on the two blades and the strop! Aren't antique shop finds GREAT!

LOL, well I was wishing it was some type of leather. Is there any way to clean the canvas ? I am restoring the leather as I am typing this.

I've had good luck washing in cold water in a bucket with woolite and air drying on a flat surface. Cleans it and gets any lumps out. Nice razors, I like that shoulderless especially too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Ty to the last 2 post. Yeah I was amazed when I seen them. I had check card in hand. I paid 28$ for the Wade and 15$ for the William. I also paid 35$ for the strop with it being cheaper than most. The ones I find are usually 45 or higher. I think this will be better than my Zeepk ( bought before finding SRP ) which is crap, and my home made one which is decent( pic in profile). The guy next door had razors for 39 and higher, not one name I could recognize. I am glad I held off and found this store right next door.
The William has a mirror finish but has something sticky on the blade(like stuff a price tag leaves behind, but this razor had a hanging tag), its all over the blade. The Wade has a very very small amount of tarnish on it. Both should be show pieces and excellent shavers.

I like that Webster - reminds me of the W& Extra Hollows (I want one of those...). Nice score.
