    Default KABESO Razor

I found this razor at an antique shop in Canada about 10 years ago, and put it in a box when I moved..today I opened the box, and looked at the razor, and was wonder if this razor had been ground down to make it smaller? Its engraved "Solingen Made in Germany" and on the scales & blade its marked "KABESO". Any suggestions? Thanks

From what I can see of the spine, the razor's width has been reduced through honing. It also looks like it has a bit of a frown to it. Personally, I don't think it can be saved and made a shaver. That's partly because it is so narrow already (and will be uniformly narrow to remove the frown), but alse because small razors are (at least for me) rather difficult to hone, strop, and shave with.

That definately look ground down to me!

The metal on the edge looks very thick as well, that could make it very difficult (or impossible) to hone.
