Thanked: 5I may be crazy, but maybe I'm not the only one...
Ok, lately, I've come to realize that I can do several area's of my face better without looking. For instance, if I close my eyes when I do my sideburns and go solely by what "feels" right I get a MUCH closer shave. It seems if I take out sight I can more heavily rely on touch and sound to get a close shave. Call me crazy, but it works.
Am I the only one who does this?

Thanked: 1touch
I have to remove my glasses to shave just because they seem to get in the way. But touch is probably one of our prime sences and most positive. So no suprise we should trust it.

This reminds me of the Japanese movies about the blind Samurai Zatoichi, who did amazing feats of swordsmanship without the benefit of sight. No thanks, I value my ears and eyes too much to shave blind. Call me timid......I have already significantly nicked both ears, on the tragus. Wanna keep them!

This has come up before. You actually do most of your shaving by feel and not site. We used to have a member who was blind and used a straight.
