Default Did DBL duck make a flying dutchman?

I have a razor and the scales says satinedge on one side and dubl duck on the other. The blade says flying dutchman and C.S. bresnick solingen germany. Is this a true DD? Thanks

as far as I know DD's were called bresnick early on, that or DD's were made by a number of different companies, bresnick being one of them?

Nope! The Pakistanis spent tens of thousands of dollars to make a one-of-a-kind fake Dubl Duck. Of course it is real!

If the scales say satinedge then the blade should also so it would appear the razor was rescaled. Also I'm not sure that the satinedge goes that far back to the Bresnick days. What you have in the blade is one of the very very rare bresnick models almost as rare as the never seen Napoleon.

I think Nelson is pulling your leg. Someone has rescaled a Flying Dutchman blade with the Satinedge scales.

Sounds like you found a great rare find!

Even if the scales aren't original, who cares?

The blade is stamped Bresnick, then it's in the same family as the Ducks

Would love to see some pics
