LOL... you guys are cracking me up. Yeah, like I said, not as bad as it looks. 5 of the brushes are already marked as presents along with the box of GD 208 razors (in the back of the photo) that I will be working on. I will keep 1 high loft silvertip just in case I ever decide to try creams, one silvertip for my usual brush, a lower grade badger for my travel brush, and one of the boar brushes to try out cause a lot of you guys rave about them. The rest will be donated to friends I am trying to get into wet/straight shaving. So, 4 brushes for me doesn't sound too bad...?

Unfortunately, I had sent 20 of those GDs to a "very" senior member here for giveaways, and he informs me that he now knows what a warped blade looks like. I only opened 1 of the 10 that I kept, but it was nice and straight. I am not really looking forward to working on warped blades as I have less than a month to get them modded, scaled, and honed. I guess I will need to look at them closer today.

I am trying to keep the razor buying to a minimum. I really only want to keep razors that I will use. I just picked up the Revisor and Blue Bell from John Crowley. Received them yesterday. Shaved with the Revisor last night and I love it. The Frederick Reynolds from another member is one of my favorites. I can't wait to try the F.W. Engels Max did for me. The Kropp will go back into rotation if I ever finish the scales. Still have the restoration blades on the way and a couple razors that were traded to a member. If I can get my workhorses to under 10, I will be happy. If not, I guess I will do a 12-month set. I just hope I don't get to the point where I am up to a 52-week, or worse 365-day set. If that happens, I know there will be plenty of guys here ready to help with the intervention and take some of those off my hands.

What's the fuss about? Looks like you just need a nice large extra cabinet in the shave den to neatly store it all.
