Thread: Best $5 I Have Ever Spent

I picked up this Wostenholm Celebrated IXL Frameback Razor for $5 on the bay. I had the only bid with free shipping, so I figured why not. It might not be the best looking razor, but I got it honed for free so I figured why not. So to be fair, including shipping out and back, it probably cost closer to $8.

First off: Lead wedge, buffalo scales. Worth the $5 already.

The kicker: It easily outshaves anything else I own. Granted I have only a 5/8 Red Point, a 4/8 E.A. Berg Faux Frameback, and a 6/8 Robert Klaas, but I feel like this is the best of the bunch.

I have never tried a frameback. They are supposed to shave really nicely.

As long as you're happy with it that's the main thing, enjoy your ebay bargain!
