Jimmy,
I am looking to start a collection. Probably mostly Boker, but not completely. I saw the alphabetical list of good razors on this forum but I was wondering if someone would be willing to voice their opinion on the top ten in order of what they think are the best. Not alphabeticaly but by quality of manufacture.
By the way, You may think this is crazy but I am going to try my hand at making a razor. I have been a knifemaker for almost thirty years and I have some really good carbon steel and all kinds of handle materials. Making a wedge shouldn't bee that hard. I am going to give it a try anyway. Mack

I don't know that anyone will be willing to do that. I think most of the brands on that list will have a lot of guys who are big fans of them. It's not necessarily my opinion because I've not had enough experience with all of the vintage brands, but I've heard Puma proclaimed to be the best production razor brand by a lot of guys.
I know that I really like Bokers, Pumas, Shumates, W&B, and I could keep going...
