Default Opinions on this Challenge Cutlery Co. straight

This is my latest find – quite a surprise to find such a beautiful US razor in Central Europe where Solingen rules... I'm very happy with it! After some polishing it will be even more beautiful.
My question is to those who are more familiar with the Challenge Cutlery brand or with this kind of embellishment on the tang: is it real MOP or this could be an imitation? I thought that this kind of model has to be a luxury version, so rather real MOP than imitation. Is it true?
    BTW, enjoy the pictures!

What a beauty! I have two Challenge Cutlery razors, and both are great shavers. Your tang is real MOP. Great celluloid tortoise shell scales, too. You are going to be impressed with the shave quality when it is honed.
Very nice find and thanks for sharing the pics!
