    Default tighten pins?

    i was wondering if there's any way i can tighten the top pin that holds the blade. my razor is loose until i open it up half way, then there's tension.

    I was wondering about this as well. I have the same scales on my loose razor but it is a full hollow Genco

    Perfect picture TY

    Some pins are two sideed some are one sided...
    FROM THE PIC those look to be one sided, look very closly at the pin head that is showing in the pics that is the front of that razor I believe from what I can see that pin head is just that a "head" which means the pin needs to be tightened from the back side where there is a washer and peen...
    You can use a 4 oz or less ball peen hammer or a heavy table spoon either will do...Tap the backside pin very gently until it tightens...

    In the workshop forum is an intro sticky look under pins and pinning you will find tons of info there

    It sounds to me that when the shank goes between the scales is when you have the tention. The solution is to repin the razor using brass bushings to widen the stance. You tighten the pin to where it is tight when open and then the bushings keep it from binding when closed.
