Thread: Did someone say Barlow?

When I hear "Barlow" I do not think of the razor, but because of my sentimental connection to the name "Barlow" I hope to some day own a Barlow Straight razor. You see, My first knife that I ever owned was a gift from my father. It was a Western Brand Barlow knife.
This is what comes to mind when I hear "Barlow:
The fourth knife in the first scan is the knife my dad gave me when I was about 15 years old.
the third knife in the last scan is known as a Granddaddy Barlow. I sent one like that to my dad for fathers day this year.

Very nice collection of Barlow's! Me I prefer Texas Toothpicks but Barlow's are my second favorite! WTG!

I probably should've posted this thread in "The Finer Things..." forum but I figured I would attract the attention of others who have or know of John Barlow straight razors.

My grandfather had a barlow when he was a kid, earlier this year I got me and him a Schrade old timer barlow knife. He really likes it.
