Default Gems within eBay lot auctions.

Whenever I see a razor lot I'll usually look through the pictures and descriptions to see if there's at least one razor I'd want. Twice in the last few months I've actually pulled the trigger on a lot and have gotten some great razors within. The prize of my first lot was a Heljestrand in ivory and a Shumate Tungsten. Just received my second lot and thought I'd take some pictures:

Here's the eBay photo. The boxes are mismatched except for the Morley. Razor on the left is a Morley, and on the right from top to bottom we have: SSA (Sweden), Weltmeister 42, Wade & Butcher, New Century (Germany), and another Morley:

Thought the Weltmeister was in great condition so that's what I was bidding on. Boy what a surprise, and to top it off I found out that the SSA I had earlier called a "no name" is actually a successor to Engstrom (details here). The only thing I've done to these razors was clean them up with Maas right out of the USPS box.

    Otto Busch Weltmeister 42

    SSA:

A little rust that I need to clean around the pivot on the SSA but otherwise they just need to be honed and they're good to go. The other razors will be projects after the holidays.

Nice snag. Weltmeisters are the goods, the nice SSA is icing on the cake.

I got my C-mon HF in a lot of broken razors, looked like a pile of junk at first glance. Probably why I got it for $15

Most of my ebay "Scores" have been from lots of razors. I can only think of one razor i have bought of fthe bay that was not a lot that came out o.k.

This is a reflection on my poor razor buying skills though
