Edit: Also, did you notice that the white Grelots actually had a different model number? They're 360.
Thank you. Yeah, the bargain "Jagger" Le Grelots are tragically all gone, but the ones on Rasurpur appear to be identical to me, sans the Edwin Jagger etching. I did indeed notice that the black-scaled razor on Rasurpur is a Model 52, and the white-scaled one is a model 360. Can't really explain that discrepancy, as they look the same to me. But I can tell you (as can others) that Le Grelots are simply sweet razors, no matter the exact model number. Almost a prototype of a rock-solid daily shaver, with no bad habits. Kind of like a Dovo Special, but better in my opinion.

Yeah Leon, the Jagger etching may be a bit over the top. The other side of the blade is ambitiously etched in Latin: "Fortitudo cum Qualitate" (Strength with Quality). That said, the etching on my vintage Le Grelot Medaille d'Or Paris 1931 isn't exactly a model of restraint and humility either (see photo below). But as we say down here in Georgia, "It ain't bragging, if you can back it up."

After my first awesome shave with that Jagger Le Grelot, being the obsessive sort that I am, I broke out my calipers and scale and started measuring. The Jagger was nearly identical in weight and every dimension to my vintage Le Grelot 1931. After thinking it over for about 5 seconds, I dropped more money on a second Jagger Le Grelot while they could still be had, cheaply. I was late to the party and got the very last one available, in black plastic scales. No regrets, Sir!

These two blades are different though the difference is (as far as I am aware) cosmetic - one is the 'le soleil' model - see the 'sunburst' on the tang - whilst the other I'm not too of. What I do know is that the 1/4 grinds are now gone for good, more's the pity!
