Default Some info on a new purchase.

I got this straight cheap, and I like the way it's made(simple taste), so I'll clean it up regardless, but I'm curious if it's any good. I can't find info on google about it and so far nothing on here either.

All I've got is that Hoffritz(spelled right I think) was purchased by the company that made this razor. International Cutlery Co NY. If anybody knows anything about it, I'd appreciate some info. Or even opinions. I'm a complete newb, so ANYTHING would help. It's got the company name on one side of the shank and "Greyhound" on the other.

HOffritz was a cutlery company that imported/contracted razors. Should be a good shaver. Mine is, but its very utilitarian. Enjoy!

Yes, I remember going into Hoffritz in NYC many years ago. The were a high end cutlery boutique with all sorts of knives and cutlery related items.

I agree the razor would be a Solingen made razor and should be a quality piece. Hoffritz never sold any poor quality items no matter the product.
