Thread: Help Identifiying A Razor

Hi guys the razor is called “The Clinker” and doesn’t have any other info on it, I have started to sharpen it and just finished setting the bevel this took an hour it is really hard steel.
I was given this razor by an elderly woman that my wife looks after. I have given it a clean however I didn’t want to get rid of the pit marks because I like it with character. The tang it not plastic I think that it is ivory however the scales are plastic and don’t seem to match the razor. However living in Sheffield there are a lot of razors round here that have the wrong scales. I think that when they broke one of the friendly cutlers would take them to work and rescale the razor for you.

Can't help you identify it,but she sure is a pretty one!I've got to get a covered tang razor.Now that I want one,and don't have money to spend(xmas)they're all over the place.Congrats on yours...
