Is that a sheep on the scales? Nice looking razor.

I don't know much, but I can tell that it was part of a 7-day set due to the Wednesday on the scale.

Very pretty razor, and the bird looks like a kiwi to me. I found another photo of a Kiebitz, and the silver inlaid bird has a long beak and a big eye. Nice catch!

That's funny. I thought the face was pointing to the left with the ear sticking out to the right.

    Time for new glasses.

    That's a splendid razor!
I don't know much about it, but from the markings on the tang I think it came from Germany. However, since Wednesday is in English, it may have been assembled or intended for sale in the US in a seven day set.

I bet Manah or one of the other history buffs can tell you something more interesting.

Second time I try to find info about "Kiebitz" trademark.
Most likely, this trademark was used by Friedrich Emde, 1902 - 1939, Solingen, Kanalstrasse 51.

There is a razor in this thread that has scales which are very similar. Maybe made by the same manufacturer?
