Default Anyone have any info on this razor please?

An ebay find that cleaned up with just a little MAAS. I honed it up and shaved with it only to discover it's not quite as sharp as I like, so back to the hone it goes. Gave me a nice shave, but I think I can get a better edge on her.

Tang sez: King Razor Mfg. Indiana, PA

Blade engraved with "King's Tough Beard Razor" with an engraved porcupine! Nice Bolsters on the ends of simulated wood plastic scales. jimps on bottom of tang, 5/8 blade.

If I can get it a bit sharper, I think it will be a keeper......

Saw nothing in the data base. Prolly will add it if anyone can give any additional info.......

    I don't know anything about it, but that's a cool/unique etch.

I've got one just like it, it is one of my good shavers once I got it honed up.
It was made between 1911 and 1919, that's all the info I have on it.

    Nice and qualitative razors.
King Razor MFG.Co. was founded in 1904, by Winfield C.King, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 1911, the company was re-organized in Indianna, Pennsylvania.
The company was closed in 1919.
