Just cleaned and sanded this razor, the scales are blond horn and vroke at the pivot when I removed them. Had to research this maker and I belive its Frederick Joseph Smith who worked in Birmingham and Sheffield but possibley began in Birmingham. Im thinking this is 1830's -40's not sure the razoe it self is not finnished well, the stabilizers are differnt shapes one is square the other a bit concave. anyone else know antything about the maker or this razors age?
