Hey guys, appreciate the comments. I have done several str8 razor restores over the past year or so but I think this one is by far the best yet. I have a couple albums here of some of what I've done so far. I have mainly been doing this for personal use, but the 'not so good' shavers I have sold to a collector in Florida, kind of testing the waters if you will, to see if I could make a hobby of this. It has been a lot of fun, and interesting, so far.

Croaker,
Gave her a test shave last evening and well, not bad, but she needs some more caressing. I believe if I treat her right she'll do a good job. If not, she'll have to go...............

Slartibartfast,
The rough sanding to get the final shape was done on a belt sander, of course, but yes, the finish sanding was all done by hand, starting with 220 grit then 400 and finally 600. I usually finish with 1000 grit but didn't on this one......don't know why, brain fart I guess.

A special 'Thanks" to you guys for your comments and the fact that this is a very relaxing hobby, I have decided to go forward with something I've been working on for several months and is still in the beginning stages; buying, selling and restoring str8 razors, thus the signature....CPR4Str8s.
