    Default Wusthof Lampo

    Anyone know what LAMPO refers to on my Wusthof. I don't really like the shape of the scales and they kinda smell. I'm not sure I want to keep them. Anyone want to persuade me either way? Keep'm or trash'm?

    I would leave those scales on the razor. The Lampo mark and the unique profile are a big part of the overall identity of that particular razor imho.

    Keep 'em.

    But you did mention a bad smell, and that can indicate cell rot. Make sure that's not the case, or your decision has already been made for you.
